Simplon in Romania
The Romanian ICT sector, which represents 6% of GDP, is growing rapidly. Low labour costs, presence of a skilled IT-workforce and a favourable business environment make Romania an attractive destination for IT activities.
But despite the dynamism of the IT sector, Internet use by the population and businesses is very uneven.
Investment in the training of digital skills is also an important issue, as wells as the deployment of high-speed Internet infrastructures in rural areas.

Presentation
Simplon Romania was created by Roxana, a trainee from the first Simplon training course in Montreuil, in Cluj-Napoca in 2014. This opening was the beginning of Simplon's international development !
Simplon Romania first specialised in digital trainings for adults, before developing a varied training offer for all age groups. With more than 3500 children and 500 adults initiated into digital technology, SImplon Romania's mission is to make digital training and skills accessible to all. Simplon Romania thus participates in the development of the Romanian educational landscape and digital economy.
